LOG FASTENING SYSTEM

In the past, logs were spiked or lag-bolted (threaded screws) together to form log walls. Heritage has implemented a new technique... a patented, spring loaded, self-tightening, maintenance free Thru-Bolt system. This method replaces the other forms of log joinery with a continuous threaded rod running through the entire log wall. This forms a very strong wall system and keeps the logs fitting tightly together as the log wall settles.
